We replace our furnace filters, change the oil on our vehicles but when it comes to your toothbrush, how often should it be swapped out for a new one?

Tip #5: Quit Smoking/Don't Start Smoking!
Besides the well-known damages that smoking causes the body, the health of the mouth takes a beating from cigarette smoking as well!
Staining of the teeth, gum (periodontal) disease which can lead to tooth loss, and oral cancer, lead the way on the list of issues smoking has on oral health.
How can you prevent these damages from worsening or even starting in the first place? Don't start smoking and if you already have, work hard at quitting!
Ever heard of the 2x2 rule? With oral health, 2x2 means brushing for 2 minutes at a time 2 times per day!
It's super important to introduce this early into your child's daily routine. Make it fun too (play a song or set a timer, etc).
2 minutes can seem like a long time so break it up into 4 30 second sections, focusing on a quadrant of the mouth during that time.
