Tip #6: Replace Your Brush Regularly!
We replace our furnace filters, change the oil on our vehicles but when it comes to your toothbrush, how often should it be swapped out for a new one?
In most cases, changing out your brush about every 3 to 6 months will ensure you have the best tool to clean your teeth properly.
Besides not cleaning your teeth properly, damaged or frayed toothbrushes can actually cause damage to your gums!
We want to remind you to always rinse your toothbrush well (hot water is best) and store it in such a way so it can dry.
Been sick? After you recover, immediately throw out your old brush and replace it with a fresh one in order to prevent bacteria from re-entering your mouth.
