Our Story
St. Albert based small business allowing busy people to prepare healthy meals in a quick, convenient way.
Seven years ago my family went to Dinner Factory to prep meals in an attempt to get a handle on our crazy busy lives. Our son was 16 and our daughter was 14. I made an appointment for 6 pm on a Tuesday night in February, no one was feeling super enthusiastic about this venture out but I insisted that this needed to be a family effort. Thankfully, we all enjoyed the experience...within 1 hour and 15 minutes we had made 12 meals. The best part was throughout February we had lots of brand new meals to try and both kids were excited to cook the meals they had prepped. I was over the moon pleased with the money we had saved in not eating out so often and our lives seemed far more organized.
This is hard to believe but at the end of February, we received an e-blast stating that the Dinner Factory was for sale. My husband had been looking for a new career and we were ready to sell the business he had been running for 22 years. This seemed like a no-brainer, so within 4 days of receiving that e-blast we were the new owners of Dinner Factory. We would begin May 1st ... unbelievable? Yes! But honestly, we did love the company so much after using it once that we felt confident we could make it a success and we were excited to help others live deliciously with modern-day convenience!
Years later we couldn’t be happier with this decision!
